Introduction

The production of stainless steel vacuum insulated bottles involves multiple key steps. As a professional manufacturer, Ansheng adopts a 60% automated production process, reducing human errors through automation to ensure consistent product quality. From material selection to inspection, every step is strictly controlled to achieve the performance standards of corrosion resistance and high insulation.

Raw Material
Cutting

1. Raw Material Selection and Processing

304 high-quality stainless steel (BPA-free 18/8 stainless steel) is chosen as the main material. It is cut into circular sheets by a cutting machine, preparing for subsequent stamping and forming.

2. Stamping and Forming

• Drawing & Stretching:

Hydraulic presses stretch the stainless steel sheets directly into the shape of the cup body (the inner liner and outer shell are formed as one piece), eliminating the need for cutting.

• Neck Spinning and Thread Rolling:

The cup's mouth diameter is reduced using a spinning machine, followed by thread rolling with a threading machine to ensure a tight seal for the lid.

3. Ultrasonic Cleaning

An automatic ultrasonic cleaning machine is used, with the outer shell and inner cavity processed separately in different tanks. First, an alkaline solution is used for degreasing, then rinsed with pure water, and finally dried with hot air.

4. Automated Welding and Visual Inspection

• Automated Welding:

Vacuum Insulated water bottles generally consist of an outer shell and an inner liner. Workers usually adopt argon arc welding technology. Using argon gas as a shielding gas, an arc is generated between the tungsten electrode and the weldment to heat and melt the base metal, connecting the outer shell and the inner liner.

• Visual Inspection:

After welding, the QC team will conduct a visual inspection to check the smoothness of the inner and outer surfaces of the bottle to avoid any defects.

5. Vacuum Drawing and Insulation Test

• Lead-Free Vacuum Technology:

A lead-free vacuum furnace automatically extracts the air from the sandwich layer to create a vacuum insulation layer.

• First Insulation Test:

After welding and before vacuum drawing, hot air is blown into the bottle to check if the outside remains cool. If it does, the vacuum insulation effect is good.

6. Electrolytic Polishing and Insulation Test

• Mechanical Polishing:

The outer surface is treated with a grinding wheel, which can be made to have a mirror finish or an anti-fingerprint brushed effect.

• Electrolytic Treatment:

The bottle body is immersed in a special liquid and electrified. The current causes a chemical reaction that removes tiny bumps on the inner wall, making the surface smooth and easy to clean.

• Appearance Test:

Check that the inner and outer walls are free of burrs or residues from the polishing liquid.

• Second Insulation Test:

Hot air is injected again to test the insulation performance, ensuring that the electrolytic process did not damage the vacuum layer.

7. Surface Treatment and Insulation Test

• Powder Coating:

Spray or paint treatment according to different design requirements.

• Laser Marking:

Laser engraving or silk screen printing of brand logos, patterns, or text on the vacuum flask.

• Third Insulation Test:

Hot air is injected into the finished cup and sealed to confirm that the surface treatment has not affected the insulation performance.

8. Assembly and Packaging

• Appearance Inspection:

Workers inspect the cup body for scratches, dents, coating peeling, or welding marks, and use white gloves to wipe and confirm there are no residual stains.

• After the appearance inspection, workers install the lid, sealing ring, and other accessories, then cover with a dust-proof plastic bag and pack in a box.
